1. Is Direx actually free?
Yes, it is really free. We do not charge a setup fee, neither are there any hidden charges.
2. If it is free, how does Direx make money?
We primarily make money by charging what we call the DIREX FEES, which varies based on the pricing plan you are subscribed to. For those that want more features, we have a paid version which is another way that we make money.
3. Do I need to install any software?
Direx is 100% cloud-based. All you need is an internet connection and a device that has a web browser.
4. What countries is Direx available in?
Direx is an African product. You can use Direx if you are based in any African country.
5. Are customers details safe?
Yes, they are completely safe. Payments on Direx are powered by world-class payment gateways that have PCI-DSS-certified systems.
6. When do funds get settled to my local bank account?
You receive payouts to your local bank accounts within 2 business days after payment has been made by your customer. Businesses get 96.5% of the total amount i.e. the Total Booking Amount – Direx Fees (3.5%)
7. Are there any fees to be paid by my customers?
Yes, they are charged a processing fee by the online payment gateway in addition to the original amount to be paid. For international customers, the standard fee is 3.9%, while for local customers (African based), the fee varies based on their country of residence.
